Jeeves and Wooster

Based on P.G. Wodehouse stories. Bertram Wooster, a well intentioned wealthy layabout, has a habit of getting himself into trouble and it’s up to his brilliant valet, Jeeves, to get him out🎩

Jeeves: Yes, sir. l agree that the affair has the dark inevitability of Greek tragedy. His Lordship, l regret to say, became somewhat unguarded in his speech.
Wooster: He ticked Stoker off.
J.: With considerable vigour, sir, stating in an extremely candid manner his opinion of the latter’s character, commercial probity and even appearance.
W.: Aah, that must have put the lid on it.
J.: It did create a coolness, sir.

💎Excellent classic British humour in a perfectly recreated ambience and with excellent acting performance.

🌟While rereading the original I recall inevitably the recklessness of Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry’s ceremonious reverence generously seasoned with euphemisms.

👌You should release yourself completely to this series, leisurely enjoying it in calm and comfort, with a large cup of delicious English tea.
